Esona Mrwetyana is a civil engineer and has completed his Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Civil Engineering (BSc. Eng) with the University of Cape Town, where he graduated with honours in March 2022.

Preceded – over by a well-capacitated director who has more than 32 years of experience in the field of Civil Engineering and Structural Construction, Gilgal Global Africa’s Civil & Structural Engineering division has been operational for many years. The division is operated by a team of Engineers, Structural Technologists, and Environmental Scientists, whom all work TOGETHER to provide integrative infrastructural solutions efficiently and effectively.

Gilgal Global Africa (Pty) Ltd provides consulting services for the planning and designing of Civil engineering and infrastructural developmental Projects and tender procurement. The division is promulgated on a philosophy that all Civil & Structural projects follow the norms and standards prescribed by statutory bodies (ECSA, SAICE and CESA) of the build environment.


Gilgal Global Africa (Pty) Ltd undertakes construction and building projects to provide innovative, stable, safer structural infrastructures at minimum cost.

Mzwakhe Christopher Qwane is an experienced professional engineer who has evolved to advance his professional capacity. Mr. Qwane began his Engineering career by acquiring National Diploma in Civil Engineering from the old Port Elizabeth Technikon. Inspired to gain a deeper insight of engineering, Mzwakhe completed a Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Civil Engineering (BSc. Eng.) with the University of Cape Town, where he graduated with).

Umec has worked in the field of civil engineering for over 20 years, 5 years as a technician, and more than 15 years as an Area Manager and Assistant Engineers Representative. He has gained experience in project management, asset management financial management of projects, social facilitation, design and site implementation. His speciality is to work with roads and bridges, water reticulation and sanitation projects.

Siphenathi started his experiential training in 2015 at SJW Civils. He was exposed to site supervision, updating site diary and other site activities. Thereafter in 2017, he became a Junior Site Engineer at SJW Civils. During this period, he gained skills in designing, measurement of quantities, payment certificates, report writing and presentation skills.

Tafadzwa completed her Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree in 2019 and thereafter began her post qualification with LR Projects as a Site Manager. There she was exposed to various aspects relating to Civil and Structural Construction. She managed all stakeholder's communication, quality control and Occupational Health and Safety on site. In 2020 she began pursuing a postgraduate degree in Structural Engineer which is currently ongoing.
